The SIAA Board is responsible for the organisation’s strategic direction and governance.
We are now seeking to recruit new Trustees to bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment, along with specific skills to offer different perspectives, increase our diversity and strengthen our Board. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people to contribute to the future of independent advocacy across Scotland.
SIAA aims to have a Board that represents the diversity within Scotland and within the SIAA membership, including advocacy partners. In particular, we are keen to hear from people that work or volunteer within independent advocacy, who have experience of independent advocacy as an advocacy partner or part of a collective advocacy group, to strengthen and support our existing Board, in realising our charitable objectives and strategic priorities.

Open Session to Meet the SIAA Board
A ‘Meet the Board’ session will be held remotely on Tuesday 18 October between 3 pm and 4 pm to give prospective applicants an opportunity to raise any questions they may have and to chat with current Trustees about their experience of sitting on the SIAA Board. Please sign up here.
