Partners in Advocacy provide individual issue-based independent advocacy to following individuals residing in Dundee:
- Children and Young People aged 0-21 who:
- need support with communication;
- have mental health issues;
- detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 or in the community;
- live with learning disabilities;
- struggle with transition issues, isolation;
- struggle with issues stemming from being a young parent.
They provide independent advocacy to children and young people aged 5-18 going through children’s hearings.
They provide non-instructed independent advocacy to children and young people.
They provide individual independent advocacy to children and young people aged 12 – 15 with additional support needs in education (My Rights, My Say project).
They also have offices in Edinburgh & Glasgow, and provide independent advocacy in the Highland Council Area.
