SIAA are recruiting for two new part time roles, a Learning and Development Officer and Engagement Officer.  Are you interested in joining a small team with the vison to see a Scotland where independent advocacy is available to strengthen everyone’s voices? SIAA mission is to actively influence, support and maintain high quality independent advocacy which uphold people’s human rights across Scotland.

The Learning and Development Officer will play a key role in developing and delivering of learning internally and across the membership. They will be working collaboratively with the team and SIAA members to embed a learning culture. The Learning and Development Officer will work to strengthen the independent advocacy movement by promoting and supporting quality independent advocacy by developing and delivering key learning across the membership.

The Engagement Officer will play a key role in delivering our engagement and development work. This will include engaging with the SIAA membership across Scotland to identify needs and priorities, supporting the development of grassroots independent advocacy across Scotland, and building the capacity of the membership to become more involved and engaged at a membership and national level.

There are options for hybrid working. The the team will meet at least once a month in the Edinburgh office. There will be some travel across Scotland involved. Click on the links above to find out more.
