SIAA are delighted to invite our members to training and information session led by the Scottish Parliament Participation and Communities Team (PACT) that will take place on Friday 22 September 10-11am.
The session is open to all SIAA members but might be partiularly interesting to collective advocacy groups and anyone intersted in learning more about how people and advocacy partners can make changes in law and policy and hold people in power accountable.
The PACT team are community participation specialists. They bring people together from around Scotland who are most affected by the issues being discussed in Parliament. They connect them to the relevant committee, so that their voices can be heard and considered by MSPs. They value hearing about people’s lived experiences. They work with organisations to make sure they are engaging with the right communities in the right way.
This training is free to attend for members. Sign up via the SIAA website.
