EARS Independent Advocacy Service provides individual issue-based independent advocacy to people in the following areas:
West Lothian
- Older people (aged 65+)
- Adults aged 16+ with physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
- Adult stroke survivors aged 16+
- Adults aged 16+ with a diagnosed learning disability and/or autistic people
East Lothian & Midlothian
- Older people (aged 65+)
- Adults aged 16+ with physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
- Adult stroke survivors aged 16+
Edinburgh
- Adult stroke survivors aged 16+
EARS provide non-instructed independent advocacy to adults.
They provide independent collective advocacy on as-needed basis.
