Royal Edinburgh Hospital Patient’s Council offer independent collective (group) advocacy within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital for all in-patients and former patients.
They are hospital-based and independent of the NHS and H&SCP. They are made up of two permanent members of staff, with a Management Committee overseeing operational and strategic matters and assisted with the help of volunteers. They are exclusively led by people with lived experience
