People First (Scotland)

People First (Scotland) provide collective independent advocacy for people who are their members.

They facilitate the following collective advocacy groups in Edinburgh:

  • Parents with learning disabilities
  • Engaged in The Law and Human Rights group
  • Engaged in the SOLD (Supporting Offenders with Learning Disabilities) User Group

They provide individual issue-based independent advocacy for parents.

They also provide peer independent advocacy through support groups in various local authority in Scotland.
