Staying Well: Healthy Boundaries and Burnout (Peer support open to all)

« All Events

March 2 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This is the third and final session in our wellbeing-focused peer support series. We will explore the need for healthy boundaries, and how that relates to burnout and compassion fatigue. If you’re interested in building resilience and maintaining balance in the face of the pressures that you navigate every day, this session is for you.

This is time out for people working in independent advocacy to have an opportunity to share their experience and learn some practical ways of supporting wellbeing at work. The session is open to everyone: individual and collective advocates, administration & support staff, managers, chief executives, volunteers, and any other worker at SIAA member organisation.

If you’re reading this, you’re invited!

The three wellbeing-focused sessions are intended as a ‘package’, though you are welcome to attend any single one, as each will be useful on its own.

Each session will include a short (10 minutes or less) presentation by our facilitator, Joette Thomas, and lots of opportunity for small and large group discussion.
