DESCRIPTION:As part of SIAA’s work on the LGBT Charter for Organisations we have been considering the current provision of independent advocacy for LGBTQ+ people and communities in Scotland. This SIAA Roundtable discussion for SIAA member organisations will be an opportunity to explore this further as well as look at other aspects of LGBTQ+ inclusion. \nSIAA will begin the roundtable by introducing our work on the LGBT Charter. We’re delighted to have CAPS Independent Advocacy joining us to speak about their experience of providing collective and individual independent advocacy (IA) to people in the LGBTQ+ community. \nThere will be lots of opportunities for wider discussion too.
