Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance
Directing your own Support? – A report examining the value of independent advocacy in supporting people through the Self-directed Support journey.
Self-directed Support – A report published by Audit Scotland makes recommendations to help councils fully implement SDS. The report says councils have started to make changes to social care however progress has been mixed among councils and slower in some areas which have underestimated the scale of the cultural and practical changes.
HUG(Action for Mental Health)
SDS Report – In the winter of 2013 HUG consulted 94 of their members on the subject of self-directed support, this report indicates their main feelings on the subject.
