GENERAL NEWS

Age Agenda

Age Concern and Help the Aged, the newly merged national charity which works to improve the lives of older people, produces a monthly digest of issues affecting older people. If you are interested in the human rights of older people and national policy developments relating to age and ageing, you can subscribe to Age Agenda on their website

Human Rights Lawyers

An issue which was raised at the recent Human Rights and Older People training, delivered by the British Institute of Human Rights for the SIAA, was the difficulty of finding Scottish solicitors who specialise in human rights law. In order to find such a solicitor, you should see the website of the Law Society of Scotland and select “human rights” as a specialism from the dropdown menu.
