Event description:
  • Training for Independent Advocates who work with older people and have some knowledge of elder abuse
  • The training will cover relevant legislation and elder abuse advocacy dilemmas
  • An introduction to the new Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007, will also be provided
  • The training lasts a whole day, is free of charge and includes group activities
  • If you are not from an advocacy organization, please contact the SIAA to check your eligibility for this training
